I'm so grateful that, despite the concrete jungle and fake everything that surrounds us in L.A., we can still enjoy the minuscule but gorgeous moments of natural beauty around us.

My first deal!
In this shit of an economy in month 6 of my training, that is quite an accomplishment, if I say so myself! I'm patting myself on the back and typing one handed as we speak! Haha
Seriously though, I'm psyched! All that's left to make it official is a signed lease then the commission will soon be in my pocket. For a 2,500 sf tenant, the fee is lovely. I couldn't help but smile when I scribbled the amount down.
I can get used to this! :)

Mud Run action shots
Here we are in all our muddy glory – I didn’t get a chance to look for Steve’s pics yet but perhaps he has a few tricep shots in there somewhere (Anne, please forward and I’ll post!) I’m disappointed they didn’t capture us hauling our asses up over the walls, but hey, at least there’s more pics! Tube tops rule! Ha ha and our tans in the bridesmaids dresses were impeccable.

Presenting "Mrs. PP"!!
The wedding was amazing and so much fun! Although sweltering hot, the ceremony couldn't have been more touching with tears shed from the groom as soon as his new bride came into his sight. I almost slipped on the rose petal laden aisle, and Niyia kept getting attacked by a bug. Nonetheless, we all remained fabulous all throughout the night. Although people kept stepping on the trains of our dresses and pollen from our bouquets stained marked us, we were imperfectly perfect!
We dined, we danced, we laughed, and we couldn't be happier for the newly weds. Everything was beautiful in the reception and we even made out with the pretty centerpieces as a parting gift.
Today, my toes are numb and the balls of my feet ache - painful, yes, but a reminder of all the fun we had dancing the night away.
Congratulations to one of my best girlfriends as the new Mrs. PP! Proof positive that even if life threw you curve balls in the past, you can still hit a home run in the future. Relish in the game of love, it's the best sport there is.
