Although there were a few kinks in the beginning, such as a booking snafu and a 20 minute late start to my appointment, my therapist worked out all the kinks in my upper back. She called them 'stress knots'; based on the sound of them as she forced them out, apparently it seemed that I had a lot of pent up stress back there. 60 minutes later, I felt brand new and unwound.
They had booked me at 1:30 on the phone, but when I arrived they said I was down for 2. Luckily, there were some cute boutiques I perused to kill time. I found a cute dress and two bracelets-one of a snake and the other a jaguar that I couldn't pass up. I figured I could afford to spend a few bucks since the massage was free, including gratuity!
Afterward, I went to Shoe Pavillion and found 3 pairs of cute summer sandals for only $67..total! I love a good bargain.
All and all, a great day of rest, relaxation, and good shopping.
